Shift

1st & 2nd Shifts.

Hours

5:30am - 3:30pm.
3:30pm - 1:30am.

Overtime as needed on Fridays and Saturdays.

Position Summary

The Slide Machine Operator adjusts and operates a variety of slide machines including multislide, fourslide, and vertical forming machines to perform close tolerance work requiring a high degree of skill. Usually work is of a complicated nature having critical and exacting requirements as to tolerance and finish. Work with minimal supervision from drawings, specifications, and job instructions. Use a variety of precision measuring instruments including optical comparators. Work is subject to inspection. Responsible for part quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adjust and operate slide machines.
  • Verify quantity and quality of parts.
  • Sort and package parts.
  • Some material handling and moderate lifting.
  • Complete and maintain required paperwork.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical aptitude & ability to learn.
  • Ability to read blueprints & perform quality inspection duties.
  • Previous Punch Press experience required.
  • CNC experience preferred.
  • Ability to use and read micrometers & calipers.
